Admissions Banner Stands
Concept: 
The admissions department at Saginaw Valley State University hosted an open house for prospective students. The open house spanned across campus and was tailored to individual’s interest in majors to provide a customized experience. Because of this, they needed informational banners that informed attendees of which majors belonged to which college. For example, Nursing belongs to the College of Health and Human Services, and Psychology belongs to the college of Arts and Behavioral Sciences. It was important that prospective students could find their desired major and then figure out which college they belonged to. In order to do this, I utilized existing SVSU brand standards and typefaces to implement an easy-to-read layout on each banner. Across the top lists the respective college name, with 1 banner for each college. Photography of students and professors of each college is incorporated on each banner in order to show prospective students real life examples of students in their field.
